website
Designing the website for the Winter Carnival was a chance to blend storytelling, community spirit, and seasonal magic into one seamless digital experience. The site serves as a central hub, showcasing the rich legend that inspired the carnival’s origins, a detailed schedule of events, and profiles of the beloved carnival royalty. From the frosty aesthetics to the intuitive navigation, every element was crafted to reflect the wonder and whimsy of the season—while keeping users informed and engaged. It’s a great example of how thoughtful design can bring tradition to life and make information feel like part of the celebration.

cloisonné pins
Commemorative pins designed to honor 2025’s carnival royalty with thoughtful symbolism. The Queen of the Snows received a poppy pin—a whimsical nod to the iconic poppies in The Wizard of Oz. For King Ullr LXVI, a sunflower pin paid tribute to both the state flower of his native Kansas and the shared Wizard of Oz theme, creating a meaningful and memorable connection.
